OSHA Compliance
This HAZWOPER 8 hour annual refresher course is designed to meet OSHA HAZWOPER requirements 29 CFR 1910.120 paragraphs [e] for hazardous waste sites. It includes 8 hours of online classroom instruction. Pursuant to OSHA CFR 1910.120(e), General Site Workers are required to refresh their initial training of either the 24 or 40 hour HAZWOPER courses. An 8 hour refresher is required in order to maintain certification.
The course covers the contents of a safety and health plan which is necessary for site assessment and remedial operations. It instructs participants on recognizing potential safety, health, and other risks at hazardous waste restoration sites. It also trains them to utilize work techniques and personal protective equipment (PPE) effectively.

Course Duration
The course is comprehensive and is rated for 8 hours of study time. It consists of 23 modules plus a final exam. You will be able to login and logout on your own schedule. The HAZWOPER 8 course will begin where you left off for a new study session.
OSHA HAZWOPER Certificate
Upon successful completion of the course (finishing each module and final exam), a certificate (8X10) is immediately available for download. A copy of your certificate will always reside in our database should you need another copy in the future.
