Clay Bednarz, our founder, was contacted by
NASA during the Space Shuttle Columbia recovery efforts. They needed to mobilize large crews but these teams had to complete the
40 hour HAZWOPER course prior to deployment. When Columbia broke apart on reentry, debris was scattered across many states. Much of the debris was hazardous in nature and required personnel to be
HAZWOPER trained. His online training proved to be a key component in deploying these crews in an expeditious manner.
During the
2010 Gulf Oil Spill, our trainers served as the primary training contractor for the
U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS). The FWS mission was to assess the nature and extent of the contamination and save marine life. Our instructors' online
HAZWOPER training aided the FWS in their deployment efforts allowing them to be in the field just days after the initial petroleum release. We are grateful for their business as well as referring us to the
U.S. Coast Guard where we trained many officials.
The U.S. Secret Service had agents that needed to complete their
HAZMAT First Responder Refresher training. There were security issues holding a traditional classroom training on the grounds of the
White House. They needed an effective online solution in an expeditious manner. Our founder was contacted to provide their online training, and agents were able to complete the course without any interruptions or security issues.
